About Felix

Founded in 2019, Felix is a digital healthcare company that puts the patient in control of their own health and wellbeing. We’re passionate about building technology and beautiful customer experiences to make healthcare more accessible (and more enjoyable) for all Canadians.

Felix is Canada's first end-to-end healthcare experience, providing online treatment, prescription delivery and ongoing care. We deliver care across a growing range of daily health categories such as weight loss, birth control, menopause, erectile dysfunction, acne and more.‍

Description

We are looking for innovative Nurse Practitioners to join our growing team of healthcare providers. At the cutting edge of virtual care, Felix connects patients with medical professionals to help them address and treat their lifestyle health concerns.

If you are interested in joining a team of healthcare practitioners and are driven to provide quality online care across Canada, then check out the advantages to joining our team!

We are currently looking for a Nurse Practitioner licensed in British Columbia. Preference will be given to NPs with additional licensing.

Advantages of joining Felix:

  • Work from the comfort of your home, on your laptop, computer. You can even work on the go via our HCP portal available on mobiles or iPads.
  • Flexible hours: you pick the hours you want to work (weekends, evenings).
  • Take the vacation you want, when you want it.
  • Join a community of healthcare professionals, working at the cutting edge of virtual healthcare, to share and learn from each other.
  • Opportunities to connect with some of Canada’s leading physicians in Weight Loss, Menopause and virtual care.
  • Easy to use platform, with on hand engineering and clinical support.
  • A platform that is secure for both the patient and health professional, which has been purpose built to comply with PHIPA privacy regulations.

Who you are

  • Felix is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with license in British Columbia (BC), preferably with cross-jurisdictional licensure.
  • You have 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience, with demonstrated experience of providing patients with the best possible care.
  • You are physically located in British Columbia, with a BC billing number, required for ordering laboratory testing.
  • You are available to provide a minimum of 8 hours of scheduled time per week on the platform, in addition to logging in every 24-48hrs to address patient needs.
  • You are a member in good standing of the College(s) where they hold the title of Nurse Practitioner, maintaining eligibility and willingness to be licensed in other provinces.
  • You maintain confidentiality and follow the code of conduct as per the governing body of their province/territory.
  • You have experience in telemedicine. Additional experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, ED, and birth control care are assets.
  • You have a proficient understanding of technology, EMRs and remote work.
  • You are adaptable and open to change.

Compensation

  • This is an open call for independent contractor Nurse Practitioners. Compensation is per assessment basis — you are paid per patient encounter/service provided, not a fixed salary or hourly wage.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace committed to building a team culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion.
