Barista Position

Are you a food professional and do you love Italian food? Do you put passion into your work? Here’s your chance and we'd love to meet you! Valoroso Foods is looking for professionals in the food/coffee sector to join our staff in Kelowna, BC.

Valoroso Foods provides the staples of Italian and European cuisine to food devotees and culinary connoisseurs in the Okanagan and across Canada. We have grown continuously by importing only the best of cheeses, pasta, salami, sauces, truffles etc., only products that are the highest expression of quality and Italian tradition. Barista - Responsibilities:

Welcome and educate customers to promote coffee consumption by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions.

Selling coffee, foods and beverages, preparing and serving a spread of coffee drinks, together with pastries and cookies.

Maintain inventories, stock coffee brewing equipment, maintain supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee shop.

Keep equipment operating by following operating procedures.

Job Requirements

· Previous experience 1yr (bonus)

· Excellent customers service skills

· Available to work days and weekends

· Familiarity with point-of-sale software (bonus)
