Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cooks/Preppers/Dishwashers to join our team. This role is vital to maintaining smooth kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and providing excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; we value a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently.
  • Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Stock and organize kitchen supplies, ingredients, and utensils to ensure smooth workflow during service hours.
  • Support the serving staff by providing timely delivery of prepared food items when needed.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to uphold a safe working environment for all staff members.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
  • Basic cooking skills with an understanding of meal preparation processes.
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or evenings if required.
