Job Summary

As a Dishwasher, you’ll be responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. You’ll help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, supporting the team in keeping things running smoothly throughout the day.


Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly
  • Keep dishwashing area clean and organized
  • Assist with cleaning kitchen floors, countertops, and surfaces
  • Dispose of trash and recycling in a timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including storage areas
  • Follow all sanitation and food safety standards
  • Assist kitchen staff with organizing clean dishes for use in food prep and cooking
  • Communicate any equipment issues or shortages to the Kitchen Manager

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen cleaning (preferred but not required)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Food Handler Certification (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation or ability to relocate before starting
