River Road Café is an independent Brazilian Coffee House & Pastelaria located in Richmond, BC.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

This is much more than a cashier position. You'll work directly with the owner, learn how the business operates, and have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role.

What you'll do

A typical day may include:

• Welcoming customers and creating a warm, friendly experience.
• Preparing coffees, beverages, and simple menu items.
• Opening the café and preparing for the day.
• Receiving supplier deliveries.
• Organizing inventory and checking product expiry dates.
• Updating shelf labels and product displays.
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café.
• Supporting our social media by taking photos, posting stories, and promoting our products.
• Assisting with supplier orders and basic administrative tasks.
• Helping coordinate seasonal promotions, events, and ongoing projects.
• Working directly with the owner to improve daily operations and systems.
• Jumping in wherever help is needed to keep the café running smoothly.

Schedule

Part-time (approximately 29 hours/week)

Tuesday to Friday
10:30 am – 4:00 pm

Saturday
8:30 am – 4:00 pm
(30-minute unpaid lunch break)

Opportunity to grow into a full-time position as the business continues to grow.
