Sharp Bus Lines is now hiring school bus drivers in the Brantford, Brant County and surrounding areas!

Become a Sharp driver and reap the benefits of driving within your own community, bringing your children to work (no childcare costs!), rewarding work for part of each day, and supplementing your income with a job you love.

Our drivers enjoy:

  • Regular, part-time split shift hours from Monday to Friday, Mornings and Afternoons
  • Ability to bring your children to work
  • FREE in-house training & licence upgrading (to a B licence)
  • 187 working days per year – never work a weekend, evening or holiday again!
  • Independent work environment with competitive wages
  • Extra hours of work may be available but are not mandatory.

To qualify you must:

  • Be dependable, caring, and committed to the safety of your riders
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English is required for safety and training purposes.
  • Be a team player, able to work well with the public and children
  • Hold a full G-class Ontario driver’s licence with at least three years of driving experience as a licensed driver (current G2 holders will not qualify for the upgrading process, must carry a full G licence)
  • Be able to provide a clear Criminal Background Check & Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Be able to pass a Ministry of Transportation Medical Screening
  • Be available Monday to Friday for split shifts, shifts generally 1.5 hours - 2.5 hours in length and occur between the hours of 6:30am-9am and again from 2pm to 5pm
