As we open our new flagship store in Calgary, we are looking for passionate individuals to become an integral part of our growing team!

Position Overview:

As the face of our store, you will be the first smile customers see when they walk into Chefco. We are not just looking for an employee—we are looking for a brand ambassador. You will be responsible for creating a warm and professional shopping environment, ensuring every customer feels welcome and finds the perfect kitchen equipment to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer-First Service: Greet every customer warmly, proactively understand their needs, provide professional product recommendations and product information.
• Store Operations: Handle cashier duties, manage point-of-sale operations, process cash, credit card, and other transactions accurately, and ensure daily accounting precision.
• Store Presentation: Maintain daily organization, restocking, and display of products to ensure the store remains tidy and well-organized.
• Physical Requirements: Assist with receiving shipments and moving inventory, including lifting and carry items up to approximately 30lbs.
• Team Support: Perform basic computer data entry tasks and assist the team with inventory checks and other administrative duties.

Who You Are:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for service.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic computer skills.
• An interest in kitchen equipment or the food service industry is a plus.
• A team player who can also work independently.

Experience:

• Sales: 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English fluently (required)
• Second language is an asset
