Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team! In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. You will manage patient scheduling, handle electronic medical records, and support clinical staff with essential administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent front desk service and answering multi-line phone systems promptly
  • Schedule appointments efficiently
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including referrals, test results, and appointment reminders
  • Support clinical staff by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Handle administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Medical Office Assistant in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
  • Previous office experience including front desk responsibilities and handling multi-line phone systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, staff, and providers
  • Demonstrated proficiency in office equipment operation and administrative tasks.

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
