Responsibilities:

  • Sets up and operates manual, automatic and CNC saw blade grinding machines to grind face, side, top and chamfer to required specifications.
  • Edits and modifies programs and machines as needed to ensure efficient machining operations and product quality.
  • Utilizes precision measuring equipment to verify proper dimensions and tolerances are achieved and maintained.
  • Meets and maintains established production and quality standards.

Skills:

  • Mechanically inclined with CNC technology background.
  • Previous machining experience.
  • Knowledge of cutting tool geometry and grinding methods.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as verniers, micrometers and other gauging equipment.
