Position Description: Sales Representative / Territory Manager

Our company is a leading national supplier of medical products in the healthcare industry. We seek a highly motivated Territory Manager with a strong Medical/Surgical sales background. This position focuses on managing a market mix of Acute Care hospitals, Long Term Care facilities, Physicians, Dentists, and Retail accounts in Vancouver / Lower Mainland area.

It is essential to have previous medical sales experience within healthcare settings. This includes the prior cultivation of strong business and clinical stakeholder relationships for the above market segments.

Requirements:

  • Education level should include a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Nursing or Business Administration, or equivalent Clinical / Healthcare sales experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Highly-motivated individual with excellent energy who is goal oriented and shows personal initiative
  • Basic computer skills are required
  • Must have excellent written and oral skills
  • Possess a strong communicative ability as a team player to facilitate seamless interaction with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
  • The ability to identify and capture business growth opportunities

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and exceed sales objectives within an assigned territory
  • Cultivate, promote and manage new business relationships within the assigned territory
  • Manage beneficial relationships with existing key customer groups to further enhance business development and growth
  • Share input and market trend information gained from customer contact and vigilant efforts on competitor activity with your colleagues and the Management Team
  • Attend various trade shows and conferences
  • Create and implement strategic sales and service plans for the assigned territory
  • Attend product training by Manufacturers as required
  • Submit required reports in a timely manner
