About the Role

Cavalier Tool is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our Finance team. This full-time position supports accurate customer invoicing, collections, reconciliations, ERP administration, and reporting.

The successful candidate will work with customers and internal departments to keep billing records current, resolve payment issues, maintain accurate financial information, and support timely month-end reporting.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and issue customer invoices using Visual ERP software.

· Enter invoices and supporting documentation into customer billing portals.

· Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding customer payments.

· Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and assist with resolving payment discrepancies.

· Track PPAP status and documentation to support accurate and timely invoicing.

· Close completed jobs in the ERP system and confirm that all required information is complete.

· Update and maintain accounting and job-related files in SharePoint.

· Complete company credit card reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

· Update KPI spreadsheets and provide accurate information for financial reporting.

· Assist with month-end duties, reconciliations, reporting, and other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned.

· Maintain accurate and organized customer billing and payment records.

· Communicate professionally with customers and internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries.

Qualifications & Experience

· Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

· Previous experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, or general accounting administration.

· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to handle confidential financial and customer information with professionalism.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Preferred Assets

· Experience with full cycle Accounts Receivable

· Experience using Visual ERP software or a comparable manufacturing ERP system.

· Experience entering invoices into customer portals.

· Experience with credit card reconciliations and month-end accounting procedures.

· Experience working in a manufacturing, tooling, or project-based environment.
