Full job description

  • Recording Transactions: Recording daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses) in accounting software or spreadsheets.
  • Reconciling Accounts: Comparing internal financial records against bank statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Managing, tracking, and paying bills owed to vendors and suppliers.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Issuing invoices, tracking incoming payments, and following up on overdue customer accounts.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculating, preparing, and distributing employee pay and handling payroll taxes.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Tax Preparation Support: Assisting with tax returns, compliance, and submitting government tax remittances.
  • Maintaining the General Ledger: Keeping the main, comprehensive record of all company financial accounts.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitoring and recording cash inflows and outflows.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Software Literacy: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel & Word.
