We manufacture customized books. The position is a manufacturing position, working with small and large machines.

THE JOB

The work includes everything required to make customized books: Printing on a digital press, trimming the printed sheets with an electric guillotine, sorting the pages, verifying the pages for print errors, punching holes in the pages, assembling and binding the books, quality assurance and packaging. At times, the work may also include making boxes and assorted other inputs required for the books.

All employees work at multiple tasks - If you print or trim or sort or package you will also do a variety of other tasks.

This is a mindful manufacturing position, which requires you to think while working.

IS THIS YOU?

- Have experience working in a print shop or copy center, including printing and/or cutting paper. If not, experience related to hands-on creative tasks or other light manufacturing experience requiring similar skills.

- Have experience working with small and/or large production machines or with your hands;

- Self-managing

- Comfortable standing for long periods;

- If in addition to the above you have supervisory experience, there may be additional opportunities for you.
