JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our team.

This role will be reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all machinery operates smoothly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and increasing productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Install, dismantle, and assemble machinery and equipment according to plans and
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, implement effective solutions
  • Align and calibrate machinery and equipment using precision tools
  • Fabricate required parts for installation
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other team members to optimize performance
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
  • Work independently when required and as part of the team
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Millwright 433A ticket required
  • Experience with screw conveyors, belt conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, pumps and machinery rebuilds
  • Understanding of electrical components is an asset
  • Experience with boiler systems would be an asset
