Job Summary

Conquest Auto Collision is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist / Bodyshop Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a collision repair or automotive body shop environment and be comfortable writing estimates, handling customer communications, and supporting daily administrative operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers professionally and assist with their inquiries regarding repairs and services
  • Schedule repair appointments and manage the bodyshop’s calendar to optimize workflow
  • Handle customer check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate documentation of repairs
  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle repairs, parts, and service history
  • Assist with sales efforts by upselling additional services or parts when appropriate
  • Process payments accurately, including cash handling and invoicing
  • Coordinate with technicians and mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies, customers, and internal teams to facilitate claims and updates
  • Manage administrative paperwork related to vehicle repairs, warranties, and parts ordering

Requirements

  • Previous dealership experience or mechanic background is highly preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive repair processes
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
  • Ability to upsell services and parts in a tactful manner
  • Experience in sales or retail environments is a plus
  • Proficiency in cash handling and basic accounting procedures
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Prior experience working in an automotive repair shop or related setting is advantageous

Assets

  • Experience with estimating software.
  • Knowledge of Mitchell, Bodyshop Connect, or similar systems.
  • Experience dealing with insurance companies and adjusters.
  • Understanding of parts ordering and production flow.
