Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle collision repair, a strong understanding of automotive systems, and proficiency with various tools and equipment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment dedicated to high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition efficiently and safely, ensuring all work meets industry standards.

Duties

  • Repair and replace damaged vehicle panels, frames, and structural components using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques.
  • Perform bodywork repairs such as dent removal, sanding, filling, and painting preparation.
  • Assess vehicle damage accurately and develop repair plans in collaboration with the service team.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical issues related to body damage when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations during all repair processes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair status and timelines.

Skills

  • Proven dealership or automotive repair experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repairs.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment.
  • Experience with automotive collision repair techniques including dent removal, panel alignment, and refinishing.
