Full job description

We are seeking skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of various food items in our kitchen. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices - Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to recipes and portion sizes - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service - Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the chef or manager - Adhere to all sanitation regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working in a kitchen environment. You should also possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Skills: - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology - Familiarity with food service industry standards and practices - Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely and effectively - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills
