Full job description

Role Overview
This Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of diagnostic imaging (DI) and angiography equipment installations for healthcare customers. They act as the single point of contact from project kickoff through installation, commissioning, and handover.

This position reports to Head of Project Management Operations in equipment installation group and will be based in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta. This role will cover projects primarily in Alberta and Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities
Manage full project lifecycle: order intake → planning → installation → customer handover
Lead kickoff meetings and confirm scope, timelines, and deliverables
Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, architects, service, factory, finance)
Work with customers and their construction teams to ensure site readiness (electrical, mechanical, structural requirements)
Oversee equipment manufacturing scheduling and delivery alignment
Coordinate installation, rigging, commissioning, and clinical training
Monitor progress and ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction

Required Experience
5–10 years in:

Diagnostic imaging equipment installation OR
Field service / maintenance of imaging systems (strongly preferred if not installation)

Hands-on experience with DI/angiography systems is mandatory
Background in healthcare/hospital environments

Key Skills
Strong technical knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment (top priority)
Project management capability (commercial, timelines, coordination)
Basic understanding of construction/site requirements (~20% of role)
Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and vendors
Strong communication and customer-facing skills

Nice to Have
Biomedical engineering or technical diploma/degree
Prior experience managing healthcare facility upgrades or installations

Other Notes
Travel expenses reimbursed
Primarily focused on projects within Alberta (AHS), with occasional broader Western Canada coverage
Projects often involve renovations/construction, not just equipment swaps

Pay: $60.00-$90.00 per hour
