Full job description

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Mechanical Installer Technician with our Eastern team.

As a Mechanical Installer, you'll play a critical role in assisting and eventually leading the installation of state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment for two industry-leading OEMs. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that directly enhances patient care and diagnostics in healthcare facilities. Duties & Responsibilities:

- Assist and then Lead the installation/relocation/disposal of complex multi-million dollar diagnostic medical systems (e.g., MRI, CT, X-Ray).

- Ensure safety procedures are followed rigorously.

- Uncrate medical equipment and prepare for shipping.

- Drive all Siaron vehicles safely and obey traffic laws.

- Perform safe rigging of diagnostic imaging systems into medical facilities.

- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.

- Attend all required training courses (e.g., First Aid, Forklift Training).

- Work to the highest standards, maintaining professionalism at all times.

- Complete all documentation required for each aspect of your performed tasks.

Qualifications:

- Mechanical ability to install equipment with the team.

- Clean Class 5 driving license.

- Smart, organized, and able to follow written processes.

- Truck driving experience, including proper loading techniques.

- No criminal record.

- Flexible and willing to travel, being away from home.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Competitive salary based on contract and experience: starting at $60k - $70k.

This is a full-time, permanent position with most of the work being done between Monday to Friday. However, the nature of this position is such that occasional work outside of those hours, including weekend work, may be required.
