Founded in 2004, SignalChem Biotech is a world’s leader in the research, development, and manufacturing of active kinases and disease-relevant kinase mutants. With expertise in cellular signaling, molecular biology, and biochemistry, SignalChem has developed over 4,000 functional recombinant protein products, establishing itself as a key player in the global market for active recombinant signaling enzymes. Recently acquired by Sino Biological, a world-renowned reagent supplier and contract research organization listed on ChiNext of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (301047 Sino Biological Inc.). SignalChem is now expanding its capabilities and creating multiple new positions.

Job Description:

SignalChem Biotech Inc. is seeking a well-qualified and experienced scientist with strong expertise in yeast expression, fermentation, and protein purification, as well as the potential to lead CRO/R&D projects.

Key Responsibilities

● Responsible for CRO/R&D projects related to recombinant protein services, including evaluating, designing, planning, and executing experiments, either independently or in collaboration with teammates.

● Analyze experimental data and properly document experiments, and prepare experimental reports.

● Innovative experimental research aiming to advance the development of current and new

product manufacturing.

● Troubleshoot experiments and identify abnormal or unexpected trends in data.

● Other related duties as needed or assigned.

Required Qualifications

● At least 3 years of experience in recombinant protein production (PhD is strongly preferred).

● Extensive experience in yeast expression, fermentation, and purification is required.

● Experience with bacterial gene editing is an asset.

● Experience in E.Coli/insect/mammalian cells is an asset.

● Knowledge of protein activity test.

● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with cross-

functional teams.

● Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication, and

problemsolving skills.

● Track record demonstrating meticulous and detail-oriented.

● Quick learner with the ability to rapidly apply new concepts and techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
