Eve Technologies - a global leader in the biomedical research industry - is looking to fill a lab technician position at our location in Kensington, Calgary. This position is different than the average lab technician position as you work with our clients from high-profiled institutes such as Harvard, MIT, and Stanford on their important medical research projects. Furthermore, the position can lead to opportunities working as a medical diagnostics lab technician under our diagnostics team (Eve Diagnostics). An Eve Technologies lab technician has a direct impact on biomedical research and clinical diagnostics. With over 4000 publications supported by Eve Tech's work, the results you generate will be central to many publications and you will improve patient outcomes with our clinical work. As a team, Eve Technologies partners with researchers around the world to provide them with assay services that are essential to their projects. Qualifications:
MLT or Minimum 2 years lab experience IN HEALTH SCIENCES.
As an ideal candidate, you hold a MLT diploma or have at least 2 years of experience in laboratory work. If you do not have an MLT diploma or certificate, you hold at least a Bachelors of Science degree, or Masters of Science degree. You have experience with making reagents / buffers, handling biological samples, and pipetting. You are skilled at using advanced equipment, have steady hands and good coordination. Ideally, you are trained to work in a Biohazard Level 2 lab and are educated in immunology with regards to cytokines, chemokines, and growth factors. You possess proficient computer skills particularly with Excel. You are excellent in writing and speaking English. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in conducting routine procedures. Your strong work ethic leads you to be self motivated and you are able to work independently. You have exceptional interpersonal skills that will be used regularly as you interact with clients on the phone and through emails and work in a team setting. You have confidence with learning how to use software programs and advanced equipment. You have good judgement and problem solving skills.

Customer Service
Provide technical support to clients over the phone and via email
Technical Work
Perform routine assays with a high level of quality and consistency
Prepare and perform non-routine assays with a high level of quality and consistency
Format data with Microsoft Excel
Help guide client’s decisions with regards to assay targets and conditions
