Full job description

We are a fast-growing molecular diagnostics laboratory supporting families, professionals, and partners across North America. We're looking for a Scientific Client Advisor who communicates clearly, stays organized, and builds and maintains trusted, lasting client relationships. In this role you'll be the knowledgeable point of contact for our corporate partners - managing their accounts, assisting with orders, answering their questions, and explaining technical concepts, including explaining DNA test results, ancestry and answering other client-specific questions. This is a career-track role: you'll start hands-on, supporting customers and accounts, and grow into managing your own portfolio of corporate partner accounts with a path toward team leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the knowledgeable point of contact for clients by answering questions and explaining technical concepts in clear, accessible language;
  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with partner accounts, keeping them active and engaged, providing order related support and assisting with new orders;
  • Onboard new partner accounts and grow existing ones, providing online training, support, and keeping in regular contact;
  • Respond to customer and partner inquiries via email and phone in a clear, professional, and timely manner;
  • Accurately log and track client interactions across internal systems;
  • Ensure all communication aligns with company policies, privacy standards, and regulatory requirements;
  • Help identify opportunities to streamline processes based on frontline feedback.

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ year in customer service, account management, or client-facing work, ideally in healthcare, biotech, or a regulated environment;
  • Bachelor of Science degree (or similar);
  • Comfortable learning and explaining scientific concepts to non-expert audiences in clear, plain language;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Reliability and accountability; you don't let things fall through the cracks;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English (C2-Proficient or better);
  • Ability to stay neutral and factual in customer-facing conversations;
  • Interest in growing into a long-term, career-focused role.

Details and How to Apply

Please submit your cover letter and resume. In your cover letter, please answer one question: tell us about a time you were responsible for getting something exactly right, where a mistake would have had real consequences. What did you do to make sure it was correct?

This is an in-person position. This position offers commission in addition to base compensation. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. We thank you for your interest, but only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. No phone calls or emails please.
