About Our Client:
Our client is a global manufacturer of high-precision industrial equipment, backed by a large international parent company. They design and deliver custom-engineered systems used in manufacturing environments across industries including plastics, food & beverage, chemicals, and life sciences. Known for their engineering quality and long-standing client relationships, they offer a stable, collaborative environment with strong technical depth and long-term career growth.

Position Overview:
This is a technically inside sales role supporting complex Electro-Mechanical equipment projects across North America. You’ll work closely with sales and engineering to develop accurate, high-quality proposals that directly impact whether deals move forward.

It’s a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving and wants to build a career on the technical side of sales, with clear progression into technical specialist or external sales roles.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Prepare detailed technical quotations and proposals, including basic calculations, system configurations, and product specifications
Translate customer requirements into clear, accurate, and commercially viable technical solutions
Collaborate with outside sales, engineering, and project teams to align on scope, feasibility, and timelines
Act as a key point of contact for customers during the proposal stage, responding to questions and maintaining momentum
Follow up on active proposals in a timely manner to support deal progression
Review incoming orders to ensure alignment with quoted specifications and technical requirements
Maintain organized and accurate documentation across proposals, orders, and project files
Support pre-sales technical discussions and assist in evaluating customer needs
Participate in internal production and coordination meetings to stay aligned on active projects
Provide technical guidance and support to internal sales teams and, at times, customers

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who combines a strong technical foundation with clear communication and a structured approach to problem-solving. You enjoy working through details, asking the right questions, and building solutions that make sense both technically and commercially.

Requirements:
Technical education such as an engineering degree or technical diploma
2–3 years of experience in a technical sales support, inside sales, or similar role within a B2B environment
Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or process equipment such as conveyors, feeders, or similar systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, with exposure to P&IDs considered an asset
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and professionally
Comfort working with calculations and specifications in a technical context
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple proposals and timelines simultaneously
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and operations
A structured, detail-oriented approach with strong follow-through and accountability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Spanish language skills are considered an asset

What’s In It For You!:
$75,000–$80,000 base salary + 10–12% bonus (OTE ~$85,000–$90,000) with opportunity for growth
3 weeks' vacation + strong benefits package (after 3 months)
Clear progression into higher earning technical specialist or external sales roles
Backed by a global parent company, offering long-term stability and long-term career growth
Structured onboarding and training, followed by a transition to a hybrid work model (1–2 days WFH)
Opportunity to work closely with experienced sales and engineering teams in a highly collaborative environment
Exposure to complex, custom-engineered systems used across multiple industries
Flexible start times (7–9am) to support work-life balance
