Intent of the process
The intent of this process is to staff one (1) EL-04 position on an indeterminate (permanent) basis in Petawawa, Ontario. A pool of partially or essentially qualified candidates may be established through this process and may be used to staff identical or similar positions at the Department of National Defence.

• ED1. Post-secondary diploma from an accredited institution in Biomedical Engineering Technology.

• EX1. Experience with computerized maintenance management software and medical diagnostic software.

• EX2. Experience in ing healthcare IT knowledge such as networking (including various protocols and associated hardware), application interfaces, antivirus and encryption.

• EX3. Experience in the inspection, calibration, repair, and performance verification of a wide range of electronic, electrical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic medical equipment and systems to ensure operational readiness and compliance with applicable standards.
