Coordination & Integration

· Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, process, instrumentation, and controls disciplines to ensure proper integration and constructability.

· Work closely with production and fabrication teams to support panel fabrication, wiring, and system assembly.

· Respond to technical queries and provide clarification during fabrication, installation, and testing.

· Participate as a project team member under the direction of the Electrical Engineering Manager.

Codes, Standards & Compliance

· Apply working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and

standards, including the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), CSA standards, and relevant client or authority requirements.

· Ensure designs comply with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

· Support internal design reviews and assist with addressing code-related comments and deficiencies.

Equipment Selection & Procurement Support

· Select and specify electrical equipment, control components, and instrumentation appropriate for the application and environment.

· Assist with sourcing of electrical and control components and preparing technical specifications.

· Review vendor submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation for compliance with project requirements.

· Support cost estimating activities related to electrical and controls scope.

Project & Field Support
