Our mission is to bring precision cancer care to patients worldwide by integrating advanced sequencing and AI technologies with a cutting-edge cancer knowledge to support cancer early detection, guide clinical decision-making, and improve patient outcomes. Geneseeq operates CAP/CLIA-certified laboratories in North America and Asia and collaborates with global pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners in oncology clinical trials and translational research.

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Scientific Project Manager to support pharmaceutical collaborations, biomarker testing programs, and companion diagnostic (CDx) projects. This role will serve as a key cross-functional interface between external pharma partners and internal laboratory, medical, bioinformatics, quality, and operational teams.

The ideal candidate should possess strong scientific knowledge in oncology and molecular diagnostics, excellent project coordination skills, and experience supporting clinical or biomarker testing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day communication with pharmaceutical and biotech partners
  • Coordinate oncology biomarker and CDx-related projects across internal teams
  • Support completion of vendor questionnaires, technical documents, audit requests, and study-related documentation
  • Review testing results, QC summaries, and report deliverables prior to release
  • Track project timelines, sample status, deliverables, and sponsor requests
  • Coordinate issue resolution related to samples, testing, QC, or reporting
  • Support assay implementation, validation, and operational readiness activities
  • Collaborate with laboratory, bioinformatics, quality, regulatory, and business teams to ensure timely project execution
  • Participate in scientific meetings and client discussions related to NGS testing and biomarker programs
  • Maintain project documentation and communication records in accordance with company SOPs and quality requirements

Qualifications

  • PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Oncology, Biomedical Sciences, or related field
  • Familiarity with NGS technologies, oncology biomarkers, and molecular testing workflows
  • Experience supporting clinical studies, biomarker programs, or pharma collaborations is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with CAP/CLIA, GCP, or quality-regulated environments is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with oncology clinical trials or companion diagnostics (CDx)
  • Experience reviewing molecular reports or genomic data
  • Experience supporting vendor audits or regulatory documentation
  • Knowledge of bioinformatics workflows and genomic variant interpretation
