Conair Consumer Products ULC is a privately owned company and part of Conair LLC, a global organization operating in more than 120 countries. Located in Woodbridge, Ontario and offices in Montreal, Quebec, we are a leading beauty care and small kitchen appliances company that service the retail and professional markets in Canada with brands such as Conair, Cuisinart, and BaBylissPro.

The Position:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Consumer Service Representative (Bilingual), reporting to the Manager, Consumer Service. If you are looking for an opportunity to join a thriving, dynamic organization with an entrepreneurial spirit and an action-oriented culture, this role is perfect for you.

The Consumer Service Representative (Bilingual) is responsible for receiving, addressing, and resolving consumer inquiries and concerns regarding Conair products across various communication channels including phone, email, written, or in-person. This role will ensure that every consumer interaction is handled in a professional, knowledgeable, and courteous manner that delivers an excellent experience for the consumer.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries from consumers (e.g. repairs, warranties, general information, etc) received through the consumer service Toll-Free support line in a friendly and professional manner
  • Respond to inquiries received by e-mail, by providing clear, accurate, and timely written responses
  • Provide prompt resolution to all inquiries / concerns and inform consumers and other parties as required of findings and outcomes
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Quality Control departments as required for assistance in handling and addressing consumer inquiries and resolution
  • Maintain and stay up to date on product knowledge for the product lines being supported
  • Coordinate and organize work flow to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Record and update details of consumer interactions in a clear and thorough manner in the CRM system
  • Coordinate consumer orders in the CRM system to ensure fulfillment in a timely manner and apply payments to orders as required
  • Assist in creating a positive work environment and participate in personal performance development
  • Perform other administrative and support tasks as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Post secondary education
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a call center / customer support environment
  • Fluently bilingual in English & French (verbal and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional phone manner with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service within established time constraints under minimal supervision
  • Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and the Internet
  • NOTE: This position is on-site with a requirement to be in office

What we offer:

  • Salary: $50,000 - 55,000. Salary will depend on several factors including experience, skills, and capabilities..
