We are looking for:

A Medical Report Reviewer to join our Dynamic team. In this role, you will be a part of the Quality Assurance department, where you will review Independent Medical Evaluation reports, to ensure quality and compliance with legislative requirements and client Service Level Agreements.

You will:

  • Verify report content with medical documentation on file to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Conduct a thorough quality review for spelling, grammar, formatting
  • Liaise with assessors to address questions and clarifications for their reports, and provide feedback, as required
  • Liaise between multi-assessors and ensure consensus for cases requiring multidisciplinary reports
  • Address and respond to assessor queries and/or correspondence in a professional and timely manner; effectively resolve any issues
  • Support assessors, as required, to ensure timely delivery of their reports

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An ability to articulate your thoughts clearly and professionally, in a verbal and written context
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Resilience and the ability to adapt to fluid demands
  • An ability to “think on your feet” and use your critical thinking skills to problem solve, and make decisions that are best for the team
  • A University Degree in a health-related field, Kinesiology, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology preferred
  • Solid PC skills with proficient use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with SmartSimple, eClaims Workflow, and Expeflow is an asset but not required
  • Knowledge of or experience working within disciplines such as Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Psychiatry, and Neuropsychology is considered an asset
  • Bilingual - French an asset
