Position Overview

As a Powersports Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and preparing customer and inventory units while maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency. You will work closely with our Service Advisors and Parts Department to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and manufacturer-scheduled services
  • Complete PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspections) on new units
  • Install accessories and performance upgrades
  • Troubleshoot fuel, ignition, electrical, suspension, and driveline systems
  • Accurately document repairs and recommendations on repair orders
  • Maintain efficiency and productivity targets
  • Follow all manufacturer procedures and safety standards
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Assist with seasonal setup and service demands

QualificationsRequired

  • Minimum 3 years of powersports technician experience
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience servicing ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles, or marine products
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Preferred

  • Experience with Polaris products
  • Manufacturer training or certifications
  • Experience with Ski-Doo, Can-Am, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, or Mercury products
  • Electrical diagnostic experience
  • MTO or relevant trade certifications
