Algonquin Outfitters is actively looking for Full and Part-Time Bike Mechanics to join our team at our Huntsville location.

As one of AO’s Bike Mechanics, you’ll play a key role on our team by ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional experience. You’ll bring your expertise to our full-service bike repair shop and retail operations, performing a wide range of tasks to keep our customers confidently on the road or trail.

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble new retail bikes and prepare them for sale.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and complete customer repairs efficiently and accurately.
  • Disassemble and reassemble bikes, replacing or upgrading parts as needed.
  • Provide helpful, knowledgeable service and advice to customers.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming, customer-focused environment.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience as a Bike Mechanic or Shop Technician.
  • Strong technical knowledge and mechanical problem-solving ability.
  • A passion for cycling and outdoor adventure.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and pride in quality workmanship.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, weekends, and some evenings.
