Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Telecom Data & BI Visualization Analyst with at least 7+ years of experience to bridge complex telecommunications data, intuitive UI/UX dashboard design, and executive-level storytelling. In this role, you will architect, design, and deliver intuitive visual analytics into strategic assets. You will serve as the primary visual translator between engineering data pipelines and C-level decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Dashboard Architecture & Design

  • Design end-to-end dashboard layouts, wireframes, and prototypes prioritizing information hierarchy, minimal cognitive load, and actionable visual cues.
  • Translate complex multi-layered telecom metrics into clear, standardized visual systems.
  • Establish and maintain design guidelines, standardized component libraries, and interactive visualization frameworks across enterprise BI tools.

Big Data Analytics & Pipeline Integration

  • Query and aggregate massive, semi-structured datasets from data lakes and warehouses.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize backend queries, custom views, and data models for dashboard renderings.
  • Ensure data hygiene, validation, and governance across all executive reporting layers.

Executive Presentation & Strategic Storytelling

  • Present insights, forecasts, and strategic implications directly to VP and C-level stakeholders with clarity and business context.
  • Synthesize multi-source telecommunications data into high-impact slide decks, executive summaries, and interactive board-ready demonstrations.
  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership, proactively identifying operational bottlenecks, revenue opportunities, and network performance trends.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years in business intelligence, data visualization, or data analytics, with at least 2+ years working directly within telecom or similar domains.
  • Advanced proficiency in modern BI and prototyping tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Figma, Adobe XD).
  • Advanced SQL, practical experience querying distributed big data platforms (Snowflake, Spark, BigQuery), familiarity with Python or R for exploratory data analysis.
  • Deep understanding of core telecom domains, such as data structures, customer lifecycle metrics, and billing data.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of pitching and presenting complex analytical concepts to non-technical executives.

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (York District)
