Full job description

The Excavation and Demolition Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects ranging from residential site work to large-scale commercial developments. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil construction estimating, strong technical knowledge of excavation and demolition practices, and excellent analytical and communication skills. MUST HAVE DEMOLITION AND EXCAVATION ESTIMATING BACKGROUND. HAVING CONNECTIONS IS A PLUS ASWELL

Responsibilities:

  • Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents
  • Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for excavation, grading, and demolition scopes
  • Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Identify potential risks, constructability issues, and value-engineering opportunities
  • Prepare and submit professional bid packages and proposals
  • Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate handoff and cost tracking
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing and industry standards
