Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Pharmacist, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and medication management. Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and legal regulations
  • Provide expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
  • Review patient profiles for allergies, contraindications, and appropriate dosages to ensure safe medication administration
  • Collaborate with medical teams to develop and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Educate patients on proper medication storage, adherence, and health management strategies
  • Stay current with new pharmaceutical developments, medical terminology, and industry best practices to enhance patient care
  • Minor Ailment prescribing

Skills

  • Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in hospital or acute care settings
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
  • Experience caring for pediatric patients and managing complex medication regimens in acute environments
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
  • Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Injection certified
