Senior Medical Aesthetician — Minimum 5 Years’ Experience- bilingual an asset

Karine Lauzon RN Clinics is seeking a highly experienced Medical Aesthetician to join our advanced medical aesthetics team in Ottawa.

This is a senior, hands-on position for an accomplished professional with a minimum of five years of experience delivering advanced, device-based facial and skin treatments in a medical aesthetics clinic. This is not an entry-level position or a traditional salon/spa aesthetician role.

The successful candidate will be confident performing advanced treatments, developing personalized treatment plans and delivering an exceptional, results-focused client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced medical-aesthetic treatments safely, confidently and consistently
• Conduct comprehensive skin consultations and recommend appropriate treatment plans
• Perform Potenza RF microneedling treatments using treatment-specific protocols and parameters
• Deliver HydraFacial treatments customized to individual skin concerns
• Perform Laser Genesis and Cynosure Icon treatments
• Assess skin types, conditions, contraindications and treatment suitability
• Educate clients about realistic outcomes, treatment preparation and aftercare
• Document consultations, treatment settings, progress notes and client outcomes accurately
• Capture consistent, high-quality before-and-after photographs
• Maintain exceptional infection-prevention, sanitation and treatment-room standards
• Recommend professional skincare products and complementary services based on genuine client needs
• Build long-term client relationships through knowledgeable, honest and attentive care
• Participate in training, clinic promotions and collaborative treatment planning

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of professional experience as a Medical Aesthetician
• Graduate of a recognized Medical Aesthetics or Advanced Aesthetics program
• Demonstrated experience working in a medical aesthetics clinic
• Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, skin conditions, Fitzpatrick skin typing and treatment contraindications
• Proven experience with advanced energy-based and skin-rejuvenation treatments
• Excellent consultation, communication and client-education skills
• Thorough understanding of sanitation, infection prevention and client safety
• Professional, dependable and meticulous in both treatment delivery and documentation
• Legally authorized to work in Canada

Highly Preferred Experience

Direct experience with the following technologies is strongly preferred:

• Potenza RF Microneedling
• HydraFacial
• Laser Genesis
• Cynosure Icon
• Laser hair removal
• IPL photofacials and skin-rejuvenation treatments
• Professional medical-grade skincare

Applicants should clearly identify which of these technologies they have personally operated, their approximate years of experience with each and the number of treatments they have performed.
