Job Overview

We are excited to announce the opening of our new Japanese BBQ restaurant and are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated team members to join us as Servers, Bussers, Hosts, or Supervisors. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry, hospitality, and providing exceptional guest experiences. All positions are paid and offer a dynamic work environment where you can grow your skills in food service, customer relations, and restaurant operations. Whether you're experienced or eager to learn, we welcome motivated candidates to be part of our vibrant team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and manage reservations as a Host or Hostess.
  • Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
  • Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation to ensure quality service.
  • Clear tables promptly and reset for new guests as a Busser.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
  • Manage cashiering duties including cash handling and basic math calculations at checkout stations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining and service areas following health regulations.
  • Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Support team members and supervise operations when in a supervisory role, ensuring smooth restaurant flow.

Requirements

  • Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and responsibilities efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation protocols diligently.
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction management.
  • Experience in food handling, food safety, or kitchen operations is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed.
