Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Sever to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a vital member of our hospitality crew, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable dining moments for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food service skills, enhance customer interactions, and thrive in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including tables, stations, and dining spaces in accordance with sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation, presentation, and timely service
  • Provide outstanding guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and order calculations accurately
  • Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential
