Join Our Kitchen Team

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking cook to join our team at Bâton Rouge Kanata. If you take pride in your food, work well in a fast-paced kitchen, and enjoy being part of a strong team, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to Bâton Rouge recipe and presentation standards
• Run your station efficiently during service (grill, sauté, broil, or garde manger)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen procedures
• Receive, rotate, and store product using proper FIFO practices
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver a great guest experience
• Assist with prep, opening and closing duties, and scheduled cleaning tasks

What We're Looking For

• Previous line cook or full-service restaurant experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong knife skills and attention to detail
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain one)
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and works well under pressure
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic—we value teamwork and professionalism

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
