Full job description

Basketball 4All Academy is seeking a dynamic, basketball-minded individual who is eager to learn and ready to contribute during practice sessions. This Assistant Coach position is a 15-week commitment throughout the Spring camps and programs. Reporting to the Youth Program Coordinator, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance into a paid, part-time Head Coach position during the Spring season based on performance and commitment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a positive attitude toward youth participants and their parents, communicating clearly and building strong relationships.
  • Support the development of players’ basketball skills while promoting life skills and healthy lifestyles.
  • Uphold health and safety standards, maintain a clean and organized facility, and ensure the safety and well-being of every player during practice sessions.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities consistently throughout the program.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment while also working independently when required.
  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, a strong work ethic, and a genuine motivation to grow and enhance coaching knowledge.
  • Arrive on time and fulfill all scheduled hours, and observe and actively participate in youth programs across various age groups on assigned days.

This role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about basketball development and committed to making a positive impact in a youth sports environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
