Techniquip

Equipment Sales & Service Inc.

Authorized SANY Dealer | Barrie · Vaughan · London | Serving Southern Ontario

Crane & Foundation Equipment Sales Specialist

Sell Industry-Leading Equipment to Industry Professionals

Techniquip Equipment Sales & Service is one of Ontario’s leading equipment dealerships and the largest SANY dealer in the province. As our crane and foundation equipment division continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced industry professional to lead the development of sales for SANY crawler cranes, telescopic crawler cranes, rough-terrain cranes, carry deck cranes, and rotary drill rigs across Ontario.

This is not a traditional sales role.

We are looking for someone who understands the lifting, foundation, and heavy construction industries — someone who can speak the language of contractors, crane owners, project managers, and fleet managers. The ideal candidate has existing industry relationships and understands how specialized equipment is selected, utilized, and supported in the field.

If you have experience selling cranes, foundation equipment, or heavy construction equipment, or have worked within these industries, this is an exceptional opportunity to build and grow a specialized business segment with a rapidly expanding dealer network, backed by SANY’s industry-leading warranty and factory support across North America.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and grow sales of SANY crawler cranes, telescopic crawler cranes, rough-terrain cranes, carry deck cranes, and rotary drill rigs throughout Ontario.
  • Build relationships with crane companies, foundation contractors, civil contractors, rental companies, and major project stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities on infrastructure, energy, industrial, commercial, and heavy civil projects.
  • Consult with customers to understand project requirements and recommend equipment solutions that improve productivity and profitability.
  • Manage the complete sales process from prospecting and qualification through quotation, negotiation, delivery, and after-sales support.
  • Work closely with factory representatives, engineering resources, and internal support teams to ensure customer success.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, customer demonstrations, and job site visits.
  • Provide market intelligence regarding competitor activity, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.

What We’re Looking For Industry Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in crane sales, foundation equipment sales, heavy construction equipment sales, equipment rental, lifting operations, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of crawler cranes, rough-terrain cranes, telescopic cranes, piling equipment, drill rigs, or other specialized heavy equipment.
  • Existing relationships within the crane, foundation, infrastructure, heavy civil, industrial, or construction sectors are considered a major asset.
  • Understanding of crane applications, lifting requirements, foundation construction, and project planning.

Sales & Business Skills

  • Proven ability to develop business and close high-value equipment sales.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to identify customer challenges and provide practical solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working independently within a large territory.
  • Understanding of equipment financing, quotations, margins, and contract negotiations.

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Ontario, with regular customer and job-site visits, and occasional travel across Canada as required.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Why Join Techniquip?

This is an opportunity to represent one of the fastest-growing equipment manufacturers in the world while building a specialized market segment with significant growth potential.

At Techniquip, you’ll have the support of a strong dealer network, an experienced leadership team, dedicated parts and service departments, and direct access to factory resources. We are committed to investing in the right individual and providing the tools necessary for long-term success.
