    • Report irregularities, damage and/or loss of property and safety concerns promptly following reporting procedures;
    • Install/maintain world-class lacrosse turf;
    • Set up of barricades and signs around excavations.
    • Understands grades and general survey, and possesses the ability to read and understand drawings.
    • Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, barricades, signs, telecommunications materials, and equipment.
    • Periodically inspect asphalt for signs of wear, damage, or the need of re-application.
    • 1-2 years of experience in road construction or related role.
    • Check all road signs and conditions of roads or any other areas requiring maintenance.
    • (barricade areas until maintenance arrives).
    • 1980 and how to utilize it.
    • Skid steer or small equipment experience is an asset.
    • Experience operating large trucks with flatbed or utility trailers attached.
    • Execute and maintain temporary traffic accommodation (signs, arrowboards, barricades, traffic cones).
    • A high school diploma or GED an asset.
    • Effectively communicate problems or concerns to the Foreman, Project Supervisor or Safety Manager.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Join Team Tiger where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic flow in various work environments. As a Traffic Control Person, you will be responsible for managing traffic patterns, directing vehicles, and ensuring the safety of workers and the public.

Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce traffic control plans to maintain safe and organized traffic flow
- Direct vehicles and pedestrians to ensure safe passage through work zones
- Communicate effectively with team members and drivers to coordinate traffic movements
- Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades
- Monitor work areas for potential hazards and address any safety concerns promptly
- Coordinate with construction crews to ensure smooth traffic operations during projects

Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license.

- Valid BCCSA License.

- Clean driver abstract

- OFA L1,2,3

- Knowledge of building temporary structures for traffic control purposes is an advantage
