About us
Wild Blue is looking for individuals to join our restaurant in Whistler Village - they should be highly motivated, possess a positive attitude, dedicated to the hospitality industry, humble, conscientious, team players, a desire to learn, respectful and honest.

Ideal candidates MUST have several years of fine dining and wine serving experience. Candidates should be team oriented as they will be collaborating with employees to create an exciting and professional environment to execute service standards.

Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar was recognized in October as enRoute's / Air Canada's # 2 Best New Restaurant in Canada in May 2023 by the prestigious ‘Canada’s 100 Best’ as one of the nations Top 10 Best New Restaurants as well as named to the 100 Best List. Having opened in mid-2022, Wild Blue Restaurant has been recognized at #4 in the Best New Restaurants category. It is the only restaurant in British Columbia to have made this list, and is one of only two in Western Canada. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure excellence in the standards and practices of Wild Blue
  • Describe and guide guests confidently on all elements of the food and beverage menus
  • Actively participate in the cycle of service to promote, educate, and offer wine to guests
  • Strong food & beverage knowledge and the desire to continuously learn
  • Passion for creating unique guest experiences
  • To learn and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our food, its components, preparation techniques, ingredients, and purveyors we have relationships with

Qualifications for Success:

  • Minimum 2+ years of related beverage, food, and service experience
  • Commitment to quality, excellence, and genuine hospitality
  • WSET or CMS certifications an asset
  • Ability to provide warm, humble, and knowledgeable service
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong task and time management abilities
  • Willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation
  • A polished, professional demeanor, with a warm and hospitable disposition
  • Experience in fine dining is preferred
  • Serving It Right Certificate
