Job Title: Bartender
Location: FiN Folk Food – Blackbush Beach Resort, Prince Edward Island
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time

Job Overview:

FiN Folk Food is looking for an experienced and energetic Bartender to join our team! As a bartender, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, engaging with guests, and maintaining a fun yet professional bar environment. If you’re passionate about hospitality, love mixing great drinks, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to FiN Folk Food’s standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Accurately take and process drink orders using the POS system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including restocking supplies and ingredients.
  • Check identification and adhere to all provincial liquor laws and safety regulations.
  • Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service to guests.
  • Assist with bar inventory, including tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Handle cash and card transactions efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant or bar setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine considered an asset
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in PEI and possess or be willing to obtain responsible beverage service certification.
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
