Overview:

Position Summary:

Sandpiper Resort is looking for friendly, reliable, and confident bartenders to join our Events Team for the wedding and event season.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in great guest service, and can help create a polished, welcoming bar experience for weddings, corporate events, and special celebrations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serving beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional and efficient manner
  • Setting up, stocking, and maintaining event bars
  • Processing debit and credit-card transactions through POS
  • Keeping bar areas clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the event
  • Monitoring inventory and communicating restocking needs
  • Working closely with event leads, servers, kitchen staff, and the events team
  • Assisting with bar teardown and end-of-night cleanup
  • Following all liquor-service, health, and safety requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Serving It Right certification required
  • Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
  • Comfortable making standard cocktails and working independently behind a bar
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation to Harrison Mills
  • Available evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the wedding season
  • Able to stay calm, organized, and professional during busy events
  • Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol in British Columbia
