Full job description

The Royal Hotel West Edmonton, Trademark Collection by Wyndham is currently looking for a part-time server

Terms of Employment: Part Time, Weekends, Days, Evenings

Education: Completion of high school Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Pro-Serve

Experience: At least 1 year of experience

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Point-of-sale system

Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Work Setting: Restaurant, Hotel

Food and Beverage Serving Skills: Serve food and beverages, general plate service, Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, room billings, Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, Advise on menu selections Wine

Stewarding/Serving Skills: Describe and advise on wine selection, Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware

Additional Skills: Customer service oriented, Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, Address customers' complaints or concerns, Assist customers with special needs, Balance cash and record sales, Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, Load buspans and trays, Set tables, Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, Replace linen
