Beverage Supervisor

Deerfoot Inn & Casino | Calgary, Alberta

Are you a passionate hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment? Deerfoot Inn & Casino is seeking an experienced and motivated Beverage Supervisor to oversee one of the most diverse beverage operations in Calgary.

This exciting leadership role offers the opportunity to manage and inspire teams across multiple unique venues, including our bustling casino bar, vibrant pub, sushi and martini bar, elevated lounge, and our premier entertainment showroom featuring concerts, special events, and private functions.

What You'll Do

As Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence across all beverage outlets. Your leadership will ensure every guest enjoys outstanding service, whether they're watching a live show, enjoying handcrafted cocktails, cheering on their favorite team, or experiencing the excitement of our casino floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop beverage service teams across multiple venues.
  • Maintain exceptional guest service standards and create memorable experiences.
  • Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and labor management.
  • Support beverage programming, menu development, promotions, and special events.
  • Ensure compliance with AGLC regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ordering, receiving, and cost controls.
  • Collaborate with culinary, casino, and entertainment teams to execute seamless guest experiences.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Assist with training, onboarding, and performance management initiatives.
  • Drive sales through innovative beverage offerings and service excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage operations, including beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
  • Experience managing multiple outlets or diverse hospitality concepts is considered a strong asset.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • ProServe Certification required.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
