Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Monitor customer consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of low supplies.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
  • Follow food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health standards.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology is a plus.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
  • A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests is essential.
