Bartender

The Bartender fills beverage orders and maintains the bar to department standards.


Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Prepare mixed drinks, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages as requested by food and beverage servers

  • Present all completed orders as per Holt Renfrew standards

  • Provide recommendations for beverages based on guest preferences and food pairings

  • Stock beverages and complete periodic inventories to ensure sufficient supply

  • Orders additional stocks as required and approved

  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements

  • Maintain bar in compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations (Smart serve)


The ideal candidate:

  • High School diploma

  • 3 years previous bartending experience

  • Smart Serve designation


The measures of success:

  • Contribution to financial objectives

  • Individual objectives linked to the achievement of department goals

  • Feedback from internal and external clients


Serveur(euse) de bar

Le(la) serveur(euse) de bar sert des boissons aux clients et entretient le bar en fonction des normes du service.


Les responsabilités spécifiques comprennent ce qui suit, sans toutefois s’y limiter :

  • Prépare des boissons alcoolisées, du vin, de la bière et des boissons non alcoolisées à la demande des serveurs.

  • Présente les commandes conformément aux normes de Holt Renfrew.

  • Recommande des boissons selon les goûts des clients et pour accompagner les plats.

  • Entrepose les boissons et effectue le contrôle des stocks de façon périodique afin de s’assurer que les produits sont en quantité suffisante.

  • Commande des réapprovisionnements supplémentaires au besoin et obtient l’autorisation nécessaire.

  • Se conforme à toutes les politiques et exigences de santé-sécurité.

  • Supervise le bar en vertu du Règlement provincial sur les boissons alcoolisées (Smart serve).


Le(la) candidat(e) idéale) possède :

  • Diplôme d’études secondaires

  • 3 années d’expérience préalable en service de bar

  • Accréditation Smart Serve


L’évaluation du succès :

  • Contribution aux objectifs financiers

  • Objectifs individuels liés à la réalisation des objectifs du service

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche :

Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the candidate's unique skills, expertise, individual qualifications, and assessed contributions to the role following the completion of the interview process.
