  • Doing things right is important to you. You care about everyone’s safety.

  • Shift work is no problem for you.

What you’ll do

  • Attend service calls on highways and local roads to support as a blocker vehicle, ensuring the safety of your fellow team members and BCAA Members.

  • Complete a traffic scene assessment to ensure the safety and position of vehicles, while working in close coordination with the Fleet Driver and Fleet Dispatch, and/or tow partners.

  • Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service while maintaining BCAA’s high standard of service and safety.

  • Offer additional support in light service, out of gas, unlocks, and battery boost.

  • Shuttle vehicle, battery, parts, and equipment to support driver, member and fleet operations. You're confident navigating our cities and towns, regardless of the vehicle size, from two-seaters to 5-ton trucks.

  • Maintain general knowledge of BCAA’s products and services, as well as all Roadside Assistance operational policies and procedures.

  • Maintain care and control of BCAA equipment & documentation.

What you bring

  • High school diploma or related experience.

  • At least two years of related mechanic experience or an equivalent combination of education & experience.

  • A clean BC Driver License Class 5.

  • Bonus skills: Level 1 First Aid Training.
