Overview
Our Company is currently hiring motivated and certified Wildfire Danger Tree Fallers and Wildfire Danger Tree Fallers/Assessors for the upcoming fire season.

The company is positioning itself to add as many fallers and assessors as possible to our 2026 Faller Roster.

Applicants must be certified through BCFSC or have a comparable enform faller certification.

Must have a minimum 3 years experience falling trees on BC wildfires and possess or obtain valid S-100 and S-185 certifications.

These roles are crucial in managing and mitigating wildfire risks by identifying and safely removing hazardous trees. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in tree felling and operational safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of trees in wildfire areas to identify potential hazards
  • Execute tree removal operations while adhering to safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication on-site.
  • Maintain equipment, including regular inspections and necessary repairs.
  • Document assessments and removal activities

Requirements

  • BCFSC Faller certification or compatible faller certification.
  • 3 years experience on BC wildfires.
  • S-100 and S-185 certifications.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to tree removal operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in challenging outdoor conditions, including varying weather scenarios.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.

Starting wage is negotiable based on experience but will be around $1,000/day with your own reliable pickup, own company with WorksafeBC account, gear etc.

Work will be on an as-and-when needed basis depending on wildfire season activity.
