This role is responsible for receiving, packaging, documenting, and shipping aircraft parts, avionics components, tooling, and related materials using standard courier services and approved freight processes.

The successful candidate will understand the importance of accuracy, traceability, careful handling, and safety when working with aviation products, including delicate components and items classified as dangerous goods.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare outgoing shipments using common couriers such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, Purolator, and other approved carriers.

· Receive, inspect, identify, label, and store incoming aircraft parts, avionics units, tools, consumables, and customer-owned products.

· Package delicate avionics and aircraft components to prevent damage during handling, storage, and transport.

· Prepare shipping documents, courier labels, commercial invoices, waybills, packing slips, and related records.

· Maintain accurate records for traceability, including part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, condition, customer information, and shipment details.

· Coordinate with technicians, purchasing, stores, customer service, and management to prioritize urgent shipments and aircraft maintenance requirements.

· Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, follow up on delivery issues, and communicate delays or discrepancies promptly.

· Keep shipping, receiving, and storage areas clean, organized, safe, and compliant with company procedures.

· Assist with inventory counts, stock checks, kitting, and general shop support as required.

Qualifications

· Previous shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory, aviation, aerospace, electronics, or technical parts experience is preferred.

· Experience handling fragile, high-value, or precision components is an asset.

· Dangerous goods training or certification is an asset; willingness to obtain required training is important.

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow documented procedures accurately.

· Comfortable using courier portals, shipping software, inventory systems, email, spreadsheets, and basic office software.

· Ability to read part numbers, serial numbers, labels, packing slips, and basic technical documentation.

· Good communication skills and the ability to work with technicians, suppliers, couriers, and customers.

· Ability to lift and move packages safely and work in a busy shop environment.

· Reliable, organized, safety-conscious, and able to manage multiple priorities.

This position is based in an avionics and aircraft maintenance shop environment. The role involves regular interaction with aircraft parts, avionics components, tools, packaging materials, courier pickups, receiving areas, and technical staff. Work may include time at a desk, in a parts area, and on the shop floor.
